Can someone point me in the right direction in how to put the wings on a creeper, I make 2 identical and 1 works and the other spins around and around. I have tried to make over a dozen different styles and have only gotten 3 to work, I know they are not the easiest to make, but I'm ready to pull my hair out , any help would be greatly appreciatted. Thanks, Rod

The spinning is usually caused by having a different "cup" or pitch to the wings, or one is opening less/more than the other. I had some tuning instructions I'll see if I can find and post, or else look at the back of an old le lure blister pack and some have tuning instructions on them.

Wings are very tricky IMO. Each creeper design is different. Some you need at a slight angle back or front. Mine on my Kraken have to be exactly parallel with the belly of the bait or they do not run well. They also have to be about 50% in the water when at rest to get a real good rocking going on when reeled in plus to keep them form blowing out and not working correctly. You will also find that the thickness and weight of the wings themselves can cause problems. Lighter is better but then weaker so it is a balance you have to find out for your creeper design. IMO creepers are some of the funnest baits to make and also the most discouraging to try to make. JMO

A few guys here make some real nice ones and have videos of them. Some really "pop".

Here is mine:
