If I am running in the GPS mode of my Lowrance LCX 25 can I run a different sonar unit at the same time without interference if the second unit transducer is mounted next to the Lowrance transducer on the transom? In other words does the Lowrance transducer send a signal when the unit is in the GPS mode?

Yes, if you've got two units running, then you will get interference. However, all you have to do is go into the menu and stop the chart on the unit your using for the gps. That will fix your problem and you won't have any kind of interference.

You can unplug the transducer of the one your not using too.
