I just seen one for sale on craigslist. When did production start on these? And when and where will they be available?
Just curious as this is the first that i have seen these.

It didn't work when I clicked on the link, but I searched for it and found it.
I never heard anything about Super D rods before?

I had 40 rod samples made back in late 2008 and liquidated them off recently. They are good rods with super strong blanks and Fuji components but the handle design was made to accept a screw in extension part and it was not strong enough to take the abuse of heavy lures with all that torque. The rod seen there has just the short "nub" handle part on it and not the long extension part (I kept them all and epoxied the nub in). Fun idea that did not work out (like most of my ideas LOL). The rod should be great for using though. I used the two I kept for myself in Canada in June and they worked great for throwing up to 15oz. swimbaits all week. I plan on taking my rods to Thorne Bros and have long handles put on them with a thicker diameter cork. I just like the longer handles with thicker diameter cork on them.
