2000 Esox Magnum Console, 75 hp Honda. How high ssould the motor be set for optimum performance? At WOT, trimed way down, shows just over 5000 rpm on the tach, 46+ mph on the X75.

Do you have a set back plate? If so I can get the exact measurement for you Monday, if not, then the motor needs to be NO MORE than 1 hole up at most, and is optimal for all conditions flat to the transom.

Thanks, Steve. Motor is on the transom. I may need to go down one pitch on the prop.
