Hey guys,

So, I'm changing out my plugs in preparation to troll more smoothly, and in replacing the engine hood, I caught one of the spark plug cap cables and it pulled out from the cap. As such, I only have 3 of the 4 plugs running the engine. What does it take to fix this -- is doesn't look as easy as soldering the cable back onto the cap as it is an insulated wire, etc.

Any advice to get me back on the water without having to take the boat in and waiting weeks to get it back?

What motor is it? Is it pulled out on the coil end, or the sprk plug end. It's possible that you can get just the one wire from the dealer, but you may end up having to buy the set of 4. Also, it may be possible the dealer can repair the damaged end while you wait. These are ususally crimped on connector, and not soldered.

You should be able to get the caps and wires from most any decent sized dealer. Been there, done that. It should be an easy fix.
