Just picked up a set of the old Snax gliders. Anybody else crazy enough to throw these? If so what rod/reel combo are you using?

I'd go with an 8' XH Diamondback hand-crafted by Frank Bottliergi with either an Okuma Induron 400 or a 6500CL Big Game....but that's just me.

I have one that I like to throw with the pounder rod 7`9 xxxh st croix,It`s a 10 inch sucker snax and the fish were loving it last fall. The reel I had on it was a big game garcia,my lure works great, can`t beleive how good it goes side to side. Also if you want to count it down you can because of how heavy it is,just be carful when you throw it,make sure the leader doesn`t get caught up with the lure.
