Has anyone used the yellow stren High vis line? Pros and Cons please. I got some 80lb from a friend because he was worried it would give it away to the fish.

Thanks

The fish won't care much, I'd bet.

In the book "Musky Mastery" there's a chapter about Gene Curtis, he's a jig/creature guy. According to the book he uses 20# Berkley TriMax photochromatic line and says "And no matter what you use, you've got to be able to see it..." I gather that most of the strikes are on the drop, and they are usually as light as the "tick" of a walleye picking up a jig. He often sees the light pick-up before he feels the fish. I would think that 80# is way too heavy for his approach.
