Random quote: I'm not against golf, as I suspect it keeps a great quantity of the unworthy from discovering fishing!

Have any of you ever used a laser printer in combination with some type of film that you can use in the laser printer to print out stencils? I have a friend of a friend who uses some high end laser printer(this thing will print up to 36"x36") to do stencils for sandblasting designs into large stones and boulders for decorative landscaping accents, figure there must be a smaller/cheaper version that would work for doing stencils for lures.

We do it the hard way by putting two pieces of paper together we can print a longer picture like for our 21 inch laketrout. Then we have to cut out the areas that are to be painted. Then the paper stencil has to be transfered to soft rubber and duplicated and cut out again. Its pretty easy to do but very time consuming. Trout and Salmon patterns and Crappie as well force using a stencil to save time. I cant imagine free handing 500 spots on a Lake trout. That would take hours per lure. Mike

Now you tell me!!! lol
Believe it or not I used to do all the little spots on my baits one at a time not that long ago. Then I discovered stencils and I can feel my airbrush trigger finger again! lol
