I have been going to LOTW out of Morson (close to sabaskong) and trying to locate the mass migrations of spawning baitfish in late fall (ciscos or whitefish). However, I never really have been certain I have found them, and I am not positive where I should be looking.

If anyone has any specific spots, and a surface temp of when, I would be greatly appreciative.

Otherwise, if someone could give me the general concept of what to look for it would be a great help. (northeast bays with sand??? full moon in october? mid lake shoals) What is the deal?

I am planning to go up the 24th of october to hit it right? any help out there???

Here is a link to an article which explains it pretty well. I hope it helps you.
