Location: Mauston, Wisconsin | Since we haven't heard from the boys in a couple of day's, I figure a Hodag probably got Mauser. Mikie can outrun Mauser, so it figures Mauser lost the foot race. It always takes two of those boy's to navigate anywhere they go, so now I figure Mikie's probably lost up there in the "Nort woods".
Keep an eye out for a crazied looking "bigfoot" looking thing with "big hair", it's probably poor ole' Mikie.
Where is the search party headquarters?

Location: Pelican Lake/Three Lakes Chain | So, I am on the Three Lakes Chain Saturday happily putting through a no wake area, gawking around and chatting with clients, when I saw the unmistakeable bushy head standing on a back deck casting. Sure enough...Mikie and Mauser had invaded my waters. Rumor has it they did quite well too. Art must have known something I didn't on Saturday!
As of 3:00 P.M. Saturday Mikie and Mauser were both Hodag free. |

Location: Southern W.Va. | Man, was that close!!!!
Ended up the week with only 5 muskies, 36",37",37",24",18". The last 2 were only guesses but I had a blast on the pike. Just had to get them out of the way to get to the muskies, I guess. Must have caught 50 of so by the end of the trip.
Mikie ended up with a 31" musky and a nice northern about the same size.
We all saw other fish but just couldn't get them to strike, Mikie had the biggest fish to come out of the water with a large jerkbait T-boned in it's mouth, comming straight at us and he just couldn't keep up with the fish's speed, probably a fish in the mid 40's by the look of it, for sure the largest fish that I saw.
Will be back for sure and carrying a new can of W.Va. Hodag Spray, maybe this time I won't have to climb a tree.
Didn't see Mikie for about 3 hours when he came wondering around in circles , made so much noise with those big feet , the Hodag that had me up a tree ran off thinking that a bigger one was moving in to get me, Man, what a friend he's turned out to be , setting up this trip and all the others and now saving me from that terrible creature of the north,
Man, what a friend !!!!!!!!!
Safe back in W.Va.
