Location: Algonquin, ILL
Hope you are all Ready, to let let the fun begin next weekend in So. Wisc.
but first a little prayer

I pray the Lord my soul to keep

While fishing out here in the deep.

And may You grant my fondest wish

And help me land a giant fish.

If I should die before I wake,

I pray that Heaven has a lake.

I need no halos, things like that,

If You’ll just let me wear my hat.

____________________________________________________________________

May God in Heaven fulfill abundantly the prayers which are pronounced over you and your boats and equipment . God bless your going out and coming in; The Lord be with you at home and on the water. May he accompany you when you start on your many journeys: May he fill your nets abundantly as a reward for your labor; And may he bring you all safely in, when you turn your boats homeward to shore.

Nice prayer John. Just a tip I would like to add. The Mass two weeks ago I went to the gospel reading had Jesus asking his disciples if they had caught any fish. When they replied no, Jesus replied to throw their nets on the other side of boat. The disciples nets were full of fish-so heavy they could barely lift the nets into the boat! The moral of the reading here is, before leaving my spot, I'll be sure to take a cast on the other side of the boat! Kdawg

the first time i went fishing with GARE he did a musky toast/prayer.
then he said i should come up with one on my own.

so i did and now its a tradition i still say everytime out in the boat chasing muskys.
it goes like this:

"Thank you God for these beautiful lakes
in the Great State of Wisconsin
where we can chase the mighty musky

I present you this toast (pour a shot whatever your'e
drinking-water,beer,blackberry into the water)
So that our next cast
Will be the world record
Maskinonge!!!!!!!!!!"
then drink it your self and spin arpound 3 times.

its fun....

good luck to all.
we will be on Silver Lake in Kenosha County or Delavan Lake in Walworth County.....
