Will be using a bowmount lectric this year for the first time. Will be fishing after dark some too. Where should I wire the lights to, the starting battery or the deep cycle in the bow??? or can i wire to both????? Thanks.

I would wire them to the starting battery. I like to have as much power as possible for the trolling motor.

I would also second what Schuler had to say. I run everything that requires power off my starting battery. That way, the trolling motor batteries are left just for the trolling motor.
