Location: MN | I am debating on what I should dress my spinnerbaits with...either silicone or living rubber? I don't want to buy pre-made skirts and I am having a very tough time finding silicone material in long enough sizes ~8" for musky spinnerbaits. The only other option is to use living rubber. I like the look of silicone better than living rubber. Ideally, I would like to find the heavy silicone material found on the new Musky Innovation Chatterbaits or Hustler Jigs.
Does anyone know what brand of silicone skirts or what supplier has the silicone material found on the new Musky Innovation Chatterbaits or Hustler Jigs?
Does anyone have any opinions on either silicone or living rubber?
Does anyone know any other suppliers of silicone skirt material?
Thanks a head of time for your input or opinions.

| I think the Chatterbait uses these http://www.viet-imports.com/SuppliedProducts.asp?doc=MuskieEZSkirtC... when I talked to them the minimum was 1000 per color, too many for me.
I just bought some 9" pads from www.luremaking.com http://www.luremaking.com/catalogue/catalogue-index/catalogue-items... & I really like them more than the rubber.
One other place I've heard of but haven't contacted yet is Dennis Hatfield

Here's what my skirts look like using the 9" pads. The smaller spinnerbait has 4 pads the larger one has 8.
