i just ordered a x-17 with gps and the only avaliable transducer was the 12*/35* dual transom transducer. will this be a problem instead of having the 20* transducer? im not much on electronics,so i thought someone could help me. thanks....

shouldn't be any problem at all. The 12 degree setting would be used for deep water situations. The 35 degree would be for your normal fishing situations for muskies unless you are trolling in 70 feet of water or more.

For casting, set it on 35 degree and you will be all set.
