Subject: serial numers on a Minnkota

Anyone know if they are on the outside of the box also??? I know the different ones for the 05 and 06 models. I was wondering because when this thing arrives, I would like to i.d. it right away, to see if the business was telling me the truth. Maybe return it with the UPS man if I am home when it arrives.
