I have a buddy of mine that's a very good stick. He has been using Tyger Leaders this year and just raves about them. I gave them a try and really liked the fact that when night fishing they would pass through my rod tip instead of "smacking" it like my current leaders. It usually scares the heck out of me when that happens. I had some trouble with a major "professional overrun" (backlash) and I was able to remove a reel and add another one with out retying by threading it through my guides.
I thought it was interesting that the leader just wraps around itself then heated to make it bond. My buddy tested the leaders after making some up and they didn't break at the point of attachment but in the middle somewhere.
Several years ago I put split rings on all of my baits and got rid of all snaps. I haven't looked back until now. I hate to think of removing all my split rings and going back to snaps.

What are your thoughts on Tyger Leaders?
Thanks,
The Yeti

I use Tyger leader material for all my jig fishing. I believe that 50 lb Tyger tied directly to the jig and line give me the best feel for what the jig is doing. Works well. I do check it often for kinks and frays.

I also use 10 lb Tyger when fishing for pike early in the season.
