| I'm thinking about buying a new boat for 2007, well at least new to me. Used or new, I'm looking for the biggest bang for my buck, and I've got about $23,000 bucks in my budget to spend. I usually err on the side of new purchases (home, car, boat, etc.) whenever I can, thats just me.
I fish about 75 days a year, with about 80% of that time being spent on waters between 500 and 2000 acres. The other 20% of the time is spent on the Great Lakes fishing salmon or up on bigger wates of Canada for the week long muskie hunt of the summer. I fish alot with my wife and younger nephews, so a dryer/less jarring ride is desired.
I guess now that you know what my basic needs are, my question for all of you is sort of two part: 1. what things are important to you in looking at a muskie boat and 2. what boat do you recommend?
Thanks in advance!

I prefer a boat that sits a bit lower but you said dryness was important.
