Location: Brookfield, WI | I am going to look at some hand held GPS. I think I will have access to a Navionics Premier Eagle chip. Will it work? Is is worth it?
Pardon me if this is a really ignorant question, but I haven't looked at them yet. I should already know, but I fell a little behind in the plan.

| I have the H2OC Lowrance with the Navionics Gold North chip. I am very pleased with this unit, but it has been discussed here before, don't totally rely on maps. Some are quite true and others are off a bit. Still works great for marking waypoints and creating a plot trail. |

Location: Hastings, mn, 55033 | yes they can really be off. when running down the west shore of mille lacs (from rocky reref to cove bay) if i have the boat 100 yds off shore my h20c with navionics chip shows the boat moving on land WEST OF 169!!! |
