Well,my clients and I boated 3 and had a geat day...Until I tried to trim my motor up and it wouldnt budge.

It picks the motor up slightly, but then the motor slowly creeps back down.

When I try to trim up, it makes a grinding noise.

Theres no oil leaking anywhere.

Any ideas folks? It couldnt of happened at a worse time!!

Thanks

Ben

I had a bad motor in mine! I had to release the pressure and tilt it up take it to the dealer and they replaced it. Said motor had a flat spot!

Make sure that the manual release valve is tight. It is located in a hole in the transom bracket. Loosen it 2 turns and you can raise the motor by hand. Then tighten it back down and see if it helped. Also make sure that it is full of fluid, if it will not go up use the above method to get motor to up position to check.
