I'm finally upgrading from cables to hydralic steering. My engine is a 97' 200 EFI Mercury.

A guy who seems very knowledgable in steering is telling me to go with Uflex.

What are your thoughts, experiences?

I do know Seastar is made in British Columbia and has a longer lead time on parts, as well as about $100 more.

I drove a 2006 620 Ranger with the 225 Pro/XS all last weekend on Bago. A $50K boat, I don't think Ranger uses anything but the best. It had the SeaStar. I see way more SeaStar units out there than Uflex.
