Alright guys, here's the deal. I've got a two year old Maxxum that is making some awful creaking noises when I change direction with it, any suggestions on how to fix or what is causing it? Also, I think the prop shaft is slightly tweaked and causing vibration, is these an easy fix? Thanks in advance.

Dirt Esox,

You might want to get a hold of Minn Kota service dealer. That is what I would suggest to you. You might have something wrong with the pedal, seeing that it is a cable drive trolling motor. More than likely it has something to do with that.

Mine does the same thing. It's a 2000. I'll be interested to hear what you find out.
