Thats the pounding inside my head. Got to the show early Saturday and spent about three hours wandering around.

Things I learned at the show:

That you can spend $14,000 on a row boat if you want. Really a pretty piece of equipment.
That my friend Bill who has a boat is very interested in fishing. His brothers are the water skiers.
That Mike Koepp was everything people said he was. A fine gentleman indeed. I'm looking forward to learning from him.
That Beaver is also a terrific guy. I'm sorry his daughter lost her hockey game, but it was nice to meet him.
That Andrew and Nikki are not only nice in IL, but also in Wisconsin. I apologize to Andrew, my friend Shawn says I talked right over you while you were trying to tell me something about reels.
That my friend Shawn keeps an eye on me when I need it.
That my sister may live on a Lake X.

Things I learned after the show:

That I am no longer the professional drinker I once was. Numerous beers followed by a couple martinis iwas not well tolerated.
That my friend Bill's dog will bite your hand if you stick it in the truck window, yet will plop down in your lap if you're in the house.

Alas, I did not make it to the bait swap and social gathering. About 7:00, my designated driver ceased to enjoy his designation. I hope a good time was had by all.

Kevin

Thus ends the show attendance part of the plan.

Hark me manatees! Heed MHs lessons and thrive...used to be numerous ales followed by mixed drinks resulted in being followed by the state police, or worse, former girl friends...glad yer "cabbie" stuck it out for 3 hrs. Sounds like you enjoyed yerself and met some cool peeps, as such it should be. Perhaps you might attend a MF outing, where you'll encounter all manner of behavior, all good of course, and make some life long friends. Once you are able to snatch a Manta from the palm of Paul Peck, you will be able to journey forth alone...
I too experienced learning yesterday...Monster Truck tickets, 26.00...program/flag/Grave Digger strobe light, 25.00...assorted pogy bait/snack & drinkage, daggone nigh 25.00...inhaling various fumes/smoke/chemicals, 2.7 less yrs on lifespan...not being able to hear Spongette for at least the next 2 days, PRICELESS!
