Location: Pound, WI | I've never installed a CD player/radio in anything. Is it a big job to install one in my boat?
The music thread has me wanting tunes in my boat.

| That really depends on the boat, one of the hardest parts can be running the wires. Otherwise the rest is not too hard. |

| The hardest part will be cutting the hole for the player. Once you have the hole cut, and the player mounted, you will be running wire. It's a pretty basic job, but time consuming and tedious. Definitely measure 3 times, drill holes in the corners of your rectangle, and cut slowly.
Couple of suggestions: put masking tape around your area that needs to be cut out. This will save any possible scratches to the surface that will still be showing.
Run your wires through a protective sheath to prevent any possible chaffing/short to develop.
Enjoy your tunes.
