Two days ago a 55" fish was caught and released according to a local TV station. This is the 3 rd fish I heard of over 50 in the last three days.
I drove up tonight for the evening bite with Mille Lacs guide "Duck" Johnson. We fished from 7:00 until after dark. We threw our boxes at em and only moved fish on a Walleye Manta (1 small Muskie hook up) and brought up a mid 40's on a Reef Hawg. Anyone had better luck or know who got the 55"?

Check out www.fishingminnesota.com

They have a picture of the fish, it says it was caught by Terry Blood fishing out of McQuoids guide service.

That fish is huge - and apparently it was released.
