Well I started fishing Webster on the 7th at 1pm. I launched and stayed at Fishermans Cove (Would like to thank Chuck and Peg for another great stay on Lake Webster). The water Temp was 76 Degree's. Had 4 follows on yellow banks, then moved to Echo Bay and the Third Cast a 32 inch musky. Fished Echo with some follows and then went to the Big Island. It was about dark and I was reallying in my glide bait and started my figure 8 then WHAM a huge musky right from under the boat. Slamed my lure and next thing I know my leader straightened and the fish and lure was gone. About 10 seconds later the fish jumped out of the water shook his head and lure went flying out of his mouth. BIG Musky, a crappie fisherman was less than 10 yards from me and said it was the biggest fish he has ever seen. Then the chicky showed up and had to head in....

9/8 Webster, boated 2 fish lost 2 at the boat. The one last at the boat was about 40 and the 2 boated where 30 and 31. Had 8 follows. Then my parents came up and I used Mike Hulbert to guide them. We all went out at 4:15. They lost a couple of fish, in there boat. I started in Echo bay lost a 34 at the boat, then moved back to the Island. Had a over 40 on for about 15 seconds on a Jack Pot and then it threw it. Not a bad day.

9/9 Webster, boated 3 fish 31,32,29 and lost one other (never saw it) had about 6 more follows on really big fish follow the lure right in front of the Dixie (Jackpot). Tried the Island and nothing.

9/10 Tippy/James Well saw a 40 inch Pike sitting in the front of channel from Tippy to James threw everything at it and it would not move. Finally almost hit the fish with the lure and it took off. Saw a huge gar follow a glide bait 60+. Other than that nothing.

So total 6 musky in the boat, should have had 2 more (Chicky still new to netting) and some follows. The area should really get jumping come October.

Thanks,
PGASCHULZ

PGA, glad to see that fish was able to throw the lure. I bet about then you would have even ben more glad it would have been a floating bait! I don't think Mike likes being used, might want to retype that part.lol

We had our butts handed to us, have no idea why the lake we were on just shut off like it did.

You bet I wish it was a floating one. Mike loves to be used........I was glad that fish shook the lure also. Would have loved to get a picture of that when he came out of the water and shook that lure off. It was sweet.........

P.S. I love the new boat 1850 fish hawk is awsome thanks for the help Todd.....
