Hey guys,

I have a cottage on the lake and was wondering if anyone has fished long lake in Iron county Wisconsin? I fish it hard and for some reason can't find the muskies. I'm not out for keeps by any means but looking for my first 40+ to get a replica of. Where, When, and how do you fish the lake? Thanks a lot!!

you can email me a [email protected] if you prefer.

I've fished the lake twice with a guide in late September. We've found active fish in shallow water where the cabbage was still green and came almost to the surface. This was found in the smaller bays. From what I saw of the lake, I liked it and know that it holds good sized fish or we would not have been there. It's stained water made black w/ orange blade bucktails, worked slowly over the weeds, our best producing bait.
