When we went to Eagle lake this year a resort owner told us he had a fly in lake for muskie specifically. He said the average day you could catch 20 to 40 muskie each in the 30 to 42 inch range and told stories or 3 and even 4 in a figure 8 at once. My question is, is this magic lake real or are we getting "sold". The lake may have been "Pincher" but I'm not sure of that. The company that flies in to the lakes has like 30 lakes they fly into but not one mentions this musky dream land?

Portage or an actual fly-in? My experience on portage lakes is that a 42" might weigh 14 lbs. is probably the lake record. I only know of two camps that are fly-ins with a shot at big fish. Rowan and Maynard. Doing Long Legged in a week and dreading the road in. You can drive into the Manitou and boat into camps, but some offer fly-in.

I was told it was an actual fly in for the day lake. They hire a plane to take us in for the day and have boats stashed there.
