Has anyone here spent any time targeting muskies here? I know this weekend is going to be a nightmare on any other body of water in the area with a decent muskie population so I was thinking about going for the needle in a haystack here. I know there are a few in there, but not sure if it's really a fishable population.

I've been there about 5 times always fished for walleyes ,did have a musky about 37' long take a bite out of a hooked walleye. So started musky fishing and had 1 follow right were the Fox river meets the wolf river, they are there but not to common.IMO Winnebago was supposed to be the next Green Bay for Musky I guess it didn't work out that way. Good luck if you go and please post and let us know how you do.

Pulled one out of there Sunday evening of the opener - 37". This was in Little Lake Butte des Morts in Menasha, not Big Lake in Oshkosh. I don't feel it's pressured much at all, lots of structure with the trestle bridge, 441 bridge, tons of weed lines, bait fish, rocks, current and river system. It all adds up.

PM for pic if you want, I don't mind sharing details.
