"Secrets of a Muskie Guide" by Tony Rizzo was instrumental in my muskie fishing. Because of the book, my brother and I were very fortunate to have fished with him 3 times when we were younger. While we were on vacation in Vilas Co, my parents would go shopping and get away while Tony was our babysitter for the day! My parents also knew that we had muskies in our blood when we were in grade school. We went with Tony 3 years in a row and never caught a fish! But we learned a lot from him, and I use a lot of the same principals to this day. I would say this book sticks out to me more than any other - at least to me. But "Muskies on the Shield" was also very good as far as a "how to" book. "Time on the Water" was a great read also - even though it was not much as far as a "how to" help guide. All are good books and worth reading in my opinion!
