have a house boat booked for august 21-28. planning on anchoring close to chamberlain narrows area. anybody got any advice for a good mooring spot?never fished lacseul but my buddy ryan(eagle weagle) and i are looking forward to it!

Haven't been there in years, and never did the houseboat thing as we stayed at Lac Seul Outposts. There's a long, tapered point in the north side of Merritt Bay with a sandy beach on the east side. There were usually houseboats parked there.

Let us know how the trip goes, would love to hear. Considering the same thing for 2026, however we want to go well past Chamberlain Narrows to the northeast. Thanks!
