What is this marking on its jaw circled in red? Did it get snagged there before? Just curious?

Maybe but if you caught it recently, many are scarred from spawning. Stood on my dock a couple years ago while a chunky fish swam under my feet during the spawn and it looked like it had been attacked by a weed wacker.

Location: Chisholm, MN		Not snagged but caught before. Depending where you fish, most muskies have been caught many times.
