Before I started drilling holes I thought I'd ask here.

I'd like for the 8" Leos to suspend in the water column a bit more. Unweighted, keeping them down is like keeping a ball underwater in a pool. Have experimented a lot with various bell weights and lead tape, nothing has been particularly to my liking.

I have considered placing a weight insert into the balance point on the belly, my concern is that the density of the wood for the three I own are all very different, so I am wary of adding more weight that would ultimately do nothing.

Any advice or results from everyones personal experiences is appreciated. Thanks!

Hang a sinker from a split ring.

I have added a weight insert before at the balance point and it works great.
