Have two chips, one for bow and one for dash unit. Last week up at the NW angle the one quit working. Would not work in either unit. So, I need to buy a new one. I know there are different models and price points, I have not researched much yet, interested in what peoples' opinions are of the different models AND if the Minnesota chip covers LOTW as accurately now as the LOTW/Rainy chip does? I have heard it does, but....

Yes, if you are talking Lakemaster for Humminbird, I have the Minnesota chip. It covers the Entirety of LOTW. I use mine specifically for the NW Angle as well.
