Anybody want to chime in about the surgical strike? What baits are guys using the surgical stirke for? I am looking for a rod to throw smaller stuff and considering the surgical strike. I have a swat already that I use for most things up to reg dawgs and mid medussas, mid size blades etc. But I would like something to throw smaller stuff.

I have the 9 ft. 20/20 Surgical Strike, full cork handle. Have had for about 4 years. Awesome rod for Topraiders and small standard #8 blade bucktails is what I use with it.

It is a joy to cast and catch fish with. stupid lightweight. Been very pleased.

Sounds about like the same size baits I would be using it for. Thanks for the info.
