Have an opportunity to do a guided (Fins & Grins, Jason Quintano) 3-day troll-cast-troll trip at the end of July on St Clair. (July 24-26). Never been to St. Clair before.

Considering that it appears that Canadian water will still be off-limits then, will fishing US waters only still be worth the trip?

Thanks for any advice.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that yes, fishing with Quintano your going to learn something regardless of the # of fish in the net.

Thanks for the comment. I have heard nothing but great things about Jason and his brother and their operation. One of the guys in our group has fished with them and Jason specifically multiple times with great results. I'm looking forward to the trip even if we can't fish Canadian water.
