Today I lost my leader and a lure, so I didnt' wanna risk losing a muskie. I looked for what little I had left for other fish. I found a walleye jig and used it and I got it up and and was surprised to see a minnow hooked in its back on the jig. Upon further inspection, I noticed it was not a minnow, but a 2 inch muskie. It had the muskie mouth and it was just a fry with no color to it, was see through mostly. So when do muskies usually spawn?

It was definetly not a stocking muskie. I just caught a recently stocked one (knew it was recently stocked because spotted muskies hadn't been stocked before) and it was around 36 inches.
