Skunked. The only decent weather was on the day I was in town buying lumber. Did not have stable conditions at all, so much for moon phases. I fished artificials for a few hours with no action. Drifted with suckers for a while and had a few scared suckers with a couple of pick-ups, but the ski’s only seemed to be “mouthing suckers”. I gave the “secrete method” a fair shake while winterizing the trailer, but only caught a tangled mess.
The Northwoods were beautiful.
We found out our child due in March is going to be a girl – Molly
Most likely no more musky fishing till spring, but have not winterized the boat yet.
Celery is good in Chili.
Peace

Mike: You probably pulled that sucker out of the water just as a 40lber was about to eat it.

Boulder Junction area was very slow as well. Saw two on Friday and managed a 37 Sunday miday. No hits on meat all weekend. The only bright side was that I got to experience my first musky fishing hailstorm on Saturdy.
