I have a helix 7 G2N, it's the base model. (No DI,SI etc.)
If I get one of the G2N models with SI and link the two can I view the side imaging from this unit on the helix 7? Would like to have a large screen at the console and have the 7 on the bow. Thanks.

Yes, you are correct. If the other unit is a G2N with MEGA, it will not be able to show you the 1200kHz (MEGA) frequency on the Helix 7, but will show 455 or 800kHz, FYI.

Simply put, you cannot share a MEGA view with a unit that does not have MEGA. You simply would just change the frequency to 455/800 to view SI or DI on a non-mega unit.
