Heading to little saint Germain WI in a few days, you guys mind telling me what depth your fishing?
Since nobody has replied, You probably know this much- but here goes...
The depth thing varies by lake. Literally they can be in 1 to 100 feet of water, ( suspended, not down 100 ft.) It really depends on water temps and bait location for sure. Also there are likely fish in 3 ft. and 20 ft on same lake at same time. I fish the Hayward area mostly, and fish multiple lakes. Normally this time of year I'd fish the deep weed edge to start. That may be 25 ft. or 3 ft. depending on water clarity. There is a suspended fish bite in early summer that some people do well on, bait balls over deep open water.
