I am interested in using my Helix 9 on the ice this year and wonder if anybody else out there has done this? It seems that I would need to purchase the XI 9 20 transducer for this to work properly. If anybody has any information on using a unit like this on the ice please share.

that sounds large... i wouldn't want to lug that around hole hopping. drinking beer in the ice castle would be ok

Helix used for ice fishing has slow processing. Like a second or two behind a Vexilar when jigging.
