I'll be fishing Amnicon in Douglas County for a day next week. Does

I fished it for the first time 6/14 we saw 5 fish and sunday morning we picked up 4 one was a 35".I dont really know the lake that well but we saw and caught every thing on the southern half of the lake back side of the bigger island. Small buck tails seemed to do the best. P.S.you can get a lake map from the WI. DNR. web site. have you ever fished the st.louis river always wanted to fish it for muskies.

I fish it quite a bit ... stained water, although this year is a little more clear ... good bucktail and topwater bite ... a lot of small fish in the lake with an occasional fish > 40" ... it has gotten a lot of pressure this year which is a problem because the lake is not very big.
