I want to fish the Detroit River this fall/winter for muskie. I will be launching out of the Windsor area. I've fished the thames last year and did well on big rubber. Is it the same idea in the Detroit River? Any specific areas people target know to hold muskies?

Basically the same. You'll see all of the boats casting for them this time of year.

Thanks, there's a free boat launch on the canadian side at a marina after oct 31. Have you heard about this? Also are the popular spots to try? I've heard of sandbanks.
