where are you headed this weekend to search for the elusive fall muskie?

i'm fishing local (Madison area) a little bit this weekend, but mostly family time before leaving Monday night for over a week in northern WI with Sorno!

I might not even get out...but that's ok, I have a pretty big week ahead of me

I'll probably just let the Mojo stay in the bank and earn interest for a few days!

Holcombe Flowage, have never fished it, but will be arrive tonight and fish through Sunday. I will be in a Polar Kraft with another knuckle head. I will have a red rainsuit on probably the whole weekend at the current weather pace.

Almost finished packing, heading back home to Montana this weekend. Start work at the sawmill on Monday, then it's editing MMIII at night and hunting/filming on the weekends. Far and away my favorite time of year.

MuskyTime and I might be hitting it tomorrow. Hoping for a many multiple fish day.

Probably work around the house this weekend. Probably will get out with the kids for some fall walleye at their favorite shore fishing spot.

Next week Tuffy1 and I should be hooking up for some fall piggies on a "new" honey hole.

Friday my new 9.9 kicker gets installed, Saturday takin my son to the pumpkin farm, and Sunday I will be spooling up my brand new trolling rods. No fishing this weekend but I am looking forward to it, especialy the pumpkin farm. My son is almost 4 so he still really gets into it. I cant wait for him to get hooked on Musky fishing with Dad. No Packers this weekend, guess I will have to watch Da Bears get der butts kicked again.

I will be doing a Mille Lacs turnaround on Sunday if the winds calm down! I know there is a tanker out there that wants to munch on a 16" Hawg Teaser!

Fishing a west-central Minnesota lake tomorrow. I'm hoping it's the day of my 15 minutes of fame, or at least to break the 50" mark. Apparently while I've been working, the big ones have been biting. I'll post pictures if I get lucky.

I'm either going deer scouting and preparing stands for gun season, or I will be up north fishing Saturday. Just way too much to be doing right now, and too little time to do it all!

After four weeks and 18 lost pounds of low carbing, it's time for a treat. Heading down to the City of Big Shoulders with the Wife, Daughter, and BBQ Shawn for some treats.

First lunch at.....

Hot Doug's
The Sausage Supertstore and Encased Meat Emporium.
mmmm....wild game and gourmet sausages and duck fat fries.

then...

Myopic Books, a large used book store.

then....

A children's film festival.

then dinner at.....

La Brasas Roja.

mmmm.... rotisserie Columbian chicken, Rib Eye Steaks, and fried plantains.

It ain't fishin', but it ain't bad.

Pics to follow.

Kevin
