| i have used the grandma crankbaits for twitching and casting quite a bit w/ little success. can anyone suggest a good crank bait to buy that they have found good success twitching it or casting them (not trolling). anything that just seems to work for them vs some other cranks? |

Location: Musky Tackle Online, MN | Musky Armor's Krave should be great for this. I haven't had a lot of time to use them for this yet. But they look great in the water when used as a twitch bait. Big Game Tackle makes some very good twitch baits as well.

| I don't know much about the twitching game. But you might try the Wiley bait for cast and retrieve. They are very successful trolling baits, but the 5.5 and 6.5 models can be casted with good results. They're known for superior action. |

| My favorite twitch baits are cranes(not in rocky areas), big games, shallow raiders, slammer has some nice one (haven't caught anything on one but like the action), in deeper water I like twitching depth raiders. |

| 8 inch Jake,my #1 producer in cranks over the last 5 years!!! Cranes,don't worry about rocks cause it gives em some character! SS shads are simply AWESOME,very shallow but the bait has ACTION!!!! Get em!!!! |

| Give the Tyrant Czar a try. They come in 7"&9". I have had good luck with them trolling and there is a cool underwater vid on the Tyrant web site of a hot mid 40's fish that Capt. Jolly twitched up. |

| DDD and DD depending on how deep you want to work. Not the biggest profile out there, but those things have a ton of action when you twitch them. |

Location: In a shack in the woods | Yea. I was slow rolling with a rip/pause halfway through the cast and that's when the fish would stick like glue and follow or hit. Now that the summer pattern is setting in I'm fishing them fast over deeper cabbage with a rip/pause about 10-15' from the boat. |

The 12" Spicker Sticker model has taken some real nice fish already this season..

Location: oswego, il | Good ones listed above. If you like a very erratic action on a twitch, try the 9" Zam from Zalt lures. It is wild. The new Cranky X from h2o tackle has great action as does the cranky nitro. |
