Louie raised a big one today. A mid 50 inch fish.... It had G-Romes dimensions and Rudy's attitude:) We will go after her again tonight.

The big fish did not show but the bonus 48" fish on the same spot is still there and active she took a swipe a Tonts dawg last night but missed. WE saw a few nice fish this morn but I can't get them to go. On the other hand Tonts managed to botch one this morn , he is off pouting somewhere at camp. He has 3 fish and I have 0 I feel a $20 slipping away.

FYI - I was not off pouting....I simply released the fish before it got in the net because I did not want to stress the fish and wanted to give Louie a fighting chance to catch up with me:) Louie is showing some signs of frustration as he is able to get the fish to the boat but not get them to bite. He is currently going through scenarios on how to rig different baits. I think all of you should give him some advice on what to throw tonight as he seems a little confused right now. More to come later..........

Throw a Weagle for the last 2hrs of daylight,....... throw it 2' from shore and work it Real Slowwww. or work it over the rocks.
Don't set the hooks UNTILL you feel the weight of the fish...
Don't Blow It Man !! You only get 1 Chance !

Sorry I wasn't on earlier babe...Really hope you get the biggest muskie Louie. Hope you catch a 50+ tonight because 1 bigger fish is better than all of his dinkos right ? Cheering for you! You can do it!

Well the trip is over. going home in the morn. Just want to let you know I am off the SKUNK with a 41" tonite, and I want to say thanks to Tonts for being a great boat partner and sharing all his knowledge of musky fishing with me. Coffee what is that stuff?

Well.....Louie finally caught a fish.....before we went in tonight he said "I suppose you want to hit the rapids before we go back to camp" I said "That's the only chance you have to get off your skunk" He proceeded to catch the 41 incher. It's good to see that he finally listened to a guy with only 7 years experience in musky fishing compared to his 30 years:)(Ask him about Louie's garage sometime) It was a great trip and we got to see a couple wall hangers but couldn't get them to bite. We will get them next year....
