| Howdy, just wanted to wish all me friends a Merry Christmas! Hope everyone has the best Christmas ever, + that everything fits, is the right size, color, etc.....
Anyone ever seen Santa w/out a beard? We came home last night just before dark + saw a dude running out of me neighbors house into the wood line dragging a big sack of gifts...he had on a fur coat, but must have lost his hat...maybe he's getting an early start? On a more serious note, keep in mind the TRUE meaning + the reason we have Christmas; all the gifts we get eventually lose their luster, but Gods gift to us will always continue to brighten the darkest times in our lives! Funny how the older we get, the faster time comes + goes....enjoy your families + all the things of the season, + be mindful that our worth isn't based on what have or don't have, but what we give to others. | Spongebob, once again I'd like to thank you for keeping things in perspective.
We wouldn't be here, or be doing the things that we love to do if it weren't for Gods blessings. And we are blessed and thankful that there are people like you who aren't affraid to remind us of that fact.
"And lo, He begateth the fishes"....... Some of them just for our pure enjoyment. Remember to say Thank You at the end of each day on the water or out in the field even if your outing didn't meet your expectations. It's a blessing just being able to do it. To have a place to do it. To live in a country where you can do it. To have a job so you can afford to do it. To be healthy enough to be able to do it.......the list is endless.
Merry Christmas to all of you, my friends. Whether I've met you or not. We are all brothers because we are fishermen.
