Well the ole fuel line trick didn't come about. They found there where more fuel lines blocked up. So I am to be admitted to Hospital this Sunday at 8pm and the Doc will get the wood splitter going. I guess I have to have a complete overhaul on this one. Will have a quadruple done. So to everyone waiting on their lures, please be patient as it looks like I will be out of commission for a few weeks.
It sucks but there is nothing I can do about it but pray.
Tight lines to all.

Stan- Not bad news. That would be- you're no longer with us! The good news is the outcome's on these are usually pretty good and this certainly should make life a bit better for you. I will be saying a few prayers for you.

God Bless!

Hey Stan,

Prayers go out to you. My father in law had a quadruple done about 6 years ago. He got the good old fashion metal valves put in. I told him he just wanted to be like one of his old John Deere tractors Good and bad....he said it hurt like he11 on day one and after that he got better real fast and today is as good as new. 80 and playing basketball again! I am sure you will be fine too. Doctors today are 10x better than in the 80s and 90s with far better equipment and procedures. Please post back once you get your laptop up and running in the hospital. Good luck!

Not to worry, Mr. Durst. My mother had that same job done two years ago and my aunt, her sister had that done just this week as a matter of fact. She is still in the hospital but will be out soon.
Don't fret, you will be up & at 'em in no time and feeling 100% better and 30 years younger.
My father in law also had a quad 15 years ago. Six weeks after the surgery he took a four point buck with his 20 gauge from a ground blind. (I don't advise telling your doctor about that sort of thing though!)

Good luck with the surgery, my father had this done also. He was sore and it took some time to recover. Wishing the best!

Has anybody heard how Stan is doing? I trust he's up, and as spry as a spring rooster chasing the nurses.

God Bless- Stan, I hope all went well.

Stan, hopefully with all the prayers that were said for a healthy and speedy recovery you are doing just that.

Will continue sending prayers until you are completly on your feet and sitting back at your painting table creating works of art!!

Mike

Wow, Thanks for all the prayers guys. Not going to be on here only a minute to let everyone know that I was released late Thursday night to come home. Things went very well I understand and am at least on my road to recovery. Had five of those by passes done all were at about 75 percent. Boy am I sore

Glad you're home. Speedy recovery to you. My mom went trough it last year and she's a lot older than you.

75 % is kind of early at your age, they must be planning on you living to 100. Your thumbb is fixed, and now your heart, no excuses! Best get a big one this winter.
