Sweet for sure.

I'll post this again...
I love it when I see certain painters take on their own personal style....Your baits have that! It is better than any signature or mark and it seems only a chosen few have it. Nice work.

Personal style?

The style is Novak or Trueglide with half the finish. Both have been around for a long time. Don't get me wrong though. The baits do look really nice .

The videos look like you need to work on weighting though. The gliders are definitely not weighted like U.S. gliders and the cranks would blow out too fast. Get that figured out and you will cross into the realm of bait maker, not just painter.

well the vids you may have seen of my baits being tested on youtube are not exactly new (almost a year) and actually i have changed and tweaked the weighting method i used from those days so my glider styled jerks ( so do the crank baits i've done) do swim much more reliably now a days after all i've done heck of a lot of different styled baits since then

I was speaking of personal "painting" style above.

There are about two other painters I know that can paint as clean and nice as these...And they certainly know who they are.

I see many folks TRY to copy what this guy does. Excellent work!

Perfect foil job, perfect paint, perfect clear. What more could you want? They're no doubt works of art. I think the guest might be a little jealous...

I know I've seen the following exchange more than once.
Guy #1: How did you make those big scales?
Guy #2: I watched Solarfalls video on Youtube. You should check it out. He's got some other great videos too...

When you're teaching others your secrets with top quality "How to" videos, you're a leader as far as I'm concerned.

I'd be happy to own any of them; thrilled to say I made them.

thanks again for the comments guys, I'm fairly new at this lure making (going 3 years now) stuff so i still have lot to learn and thats what keeps me interested and always pushing my self for that perfect bait, witch i know i will never probably achieve but what i know is that i will have fun while doing it and creating something cool with my 2 hands, and while im doing that share little bit of the knowledge that i've gotten while doing this lure making stuff

I think solarfall has made his point and we all agree, the dude can paint. The photos are enjoyable but the text usually kills the experience for me. Like a good big fish spot, I can't help but to keep going back again and again.

dont listen to that!
believe me you are already by a marge a better painter than those guys!
pics proof is enough for me
that being said a good pike cranks or glidebaits is not necessarily a good musky lure vice versa.
btw pike troller dont troll as fast as we do for musky.......
continue your great work

I don't post on here much anymore and this is one of the reasons....somebody posts some nice baits and the jealousy of other people take over and ruin the whole deal. In defense of Solarfall, the guy's baits are nice and if he comes off cocky, he should, he is good! His painting and clear coats are flawless and his pictures come out awesome....that being said....
Solarfall don't get discouraged from the BS, keep on posting your work, most of us enjoy it!!!!

For my part, that is the reason I don't post much either. Sorry that my company name keeps getting bandied about. All I care about is catching fish. I am glad people are passionate about fishing lures, but please leave my name out of it.
