Yesterday I up'd my personal best by an inch! After watching her blow up on a duck, I took a topwater and gave it a toss in the area.. After about the 3rd cast she blew up and missed the bait, so I fired another one back. She took another swing and missed... ..but got right back on it, pushed wake for about 4 ft and just crushed the bait about 10 ft from the boat. Made a quick run towards the boat, went under the boat then hit the afterburners. I swear she was 10 ft on the other side. (I've never felt so much power before) After a couple more power runs, Andy was able to scoop her in the net, after cutting a bunch of hooks, we took a couple of pictures, measured her out to 46 inches and let her go. It was an awesome experience, I've been waiting for a fish like that for 3 years. This sport has brought me soo many memories and some great friends to share them with.

Congrats on the nice fish. It must have been something to see it going after the duck.

Green headed mallard! I didn't have one of the those in the box... But my substitute black pacemaker, seemed to do the trick.

For some reason Pacemakers are awesome when thrown at fish you've seen blow up on something. Great fish!
