We now have the full field of (33) Thirty Three Guides to complete the International Guide Raffle to Benifit the Andrew Luchovick Jr. Trust.
The Tickets have been here for three weeks ,very soon and will be distributed to Muskies Inc. Chapters,Muskies Canada Chapters and othe Musky Clubs to help us sell them.The Raffle Tickets will sell for $5 each or (5) five for $20.The drawing will be on August 29th at the Mostly Muskies Chautauqua Lake Outing.I hope that we can have Andrew Jr. present then as well.1st person drawn will get to pick one Guide Trip from the 30 on the Ticket,then as each person is drawn there after they will make their choice until the 33rd person gets the last Guide.You do not have to be present at the drawing,you will be called,in the mean time the choice will be frozen until you are contacted and you make your pick in turn.Persons may also purchase the International Guide Raffle Tickets by sending a Check made out to"Andy Luchovick Jr.Trust" to Capt. Wow! We realy have to take a step back and look at what we have acomplished here! Who say's fishermen don't stick together in time of need. Musky Fishermen are the greatest bunch of guy's,just look at the number of Guides that stepped forward to help make one little boy's future look a little brighter,taking care of one of our own!

So far things are moving slow here,only 15 people have sent in a donation for Tickets.With all the Big Name Musky Guides on the Raffle Ticket,one would think that donations would be coming in at a steady pace.I'm hopeing that people are so busy fishing that they just haven't had time to send in their's yet.One thing we did not want to have to do is spend any money brought in by this Raffle Ticket,we wanted all funds to go directly to the Andrew S. Luchovick Trust.If donations don't start coming in at a faster pace soon we may have to place costly adds in the Musky Magazines to get more attention.This would take some uneeded funds from the Raffle to pay for that advertisement,would not like to do that at all.Will continue the present format for now,all checks are made out directly to and go directly into the Trust.Again,please consider what we are doing here with this Guide Raffle,we are building a Trust for a Little Boy that lost his Father in a drowning accident while they were on a Father & Son Fishing Trip!

| The Musky Shows did not generate very much in Int. Guide Raffle Ticket Sales.Even with some give aways of lures with a 5 ticket donation of $20,the sales were some what slow.I'm just trying to figure out why people are not interested in this effort by so many big name guides that donated guide trips on one raffle ticket to build a trust for a little boy who lost his father.One musky expo there was only one ticket sold!I gave up three weeks of my vacation to sit through the Ohio Musky Expo,Hamburg Fairgrounds Show and the Cleveland IX-Center Show and never even brought in $1000 in donations.I'm hopeing that people are just waiting to mail in their donations for the International Guide raffle as we get closer to August 29th.I have not recieved a check in the mail in over a month.
Would setting up a PayPal Account be worth the effort?

| Come on guy's,lets think about what we are trying to acomplish here,build a Trust for a little boy who lost his father in a drowning accident while they were on a father son fishing trip.I'm sure that there are more people that have read the different posts on the International Guide Raffle then the 13 people who sent in their donation checks.$5 for (1)one Ticket or $20 for (5)five Tickets should not be that hard to give for such a great cause and the chance to win one or more fishing trips with the best Musky Guides in the U.S.A. & Canada.All the Great Guides that stepped up to the plate for this effort did so because they wanted to help make a little boy's life just a little better in later years.To everyone that has sent in donations already,thank you very much for helping one of our own!

i'll be mailing a check on monday. afterall, your right, whats $20 or $40. just wont buy the extra lure the next time i'm in the bait shop. i am guessing the thing that may be holding people back is the wide range of areas for guides. i know for me personally i probably wouldnt be able to swing the cost of going out east or down to kentucky if i happened to be drawn for one of those trips. perhaps it would be a good idea to create a post after the drawing where any winners could see about trading trips, if you have an east coast guy who gets drawn for MN or WI waters, and a MN or WI guy who gets drawn for east coast waters. just a possible suggestion. to me, if i get drawn and its a trip i cant make, it was still worth it to try and help a little towards a good cause!! |

The 1st person drawn has their choice of Guides,the 2nd and so on.Most are going to choose a Guide close to where they live,unless they want to get on the water with a spacific guide or water.Chances are if your lucky enough to get drawn,that you will be able to get a guide close to your area.Still time to get your check to me by Saturday.

| Can you win more than once. My dad and a friend each gave me $20.00 to send in with mine and I gave them there five tickets but it's under my name. Not that it's that big of a deal because of what it's for I just wish I could have sent more. |
